Winston Manner has a competitive swim team that offers the opportunity for children to have fun while improving their strokes and building confidence in their swimming ability. There is a $75.00 fee per person. Payment must be made in full by the beginning of the swim team season. No refunds after that date. See below for more details.

Dear Parents,

Welcome to another great season with the Winston Manor Stingrays!

The Official Swim Team Registration will be held at the pool on Sunday, May 18th from 3-5 PM. If you are unable to attend the registration please drop off your registrations along with a check for $75 per swimmer made payable to Winston Manor Swim Team to Val Moffa at 202 Brandywine Dr. ALL REGISTRATIONS MUST BE TURNED IN BY MAY 18th. Swim team is open to any Winston Manor resident that is age 4 by June 1, 2008.

A mandatory parent meeting will be held on the first day of practice, during the practice times. Our head coach, Anna Tewell will be reviewing all of the swim team policies at that time. A volunteer sign up sheet will be available at the pool as soon as the meet dates have been finalized. As always – we can't host any swim meets without our great parent volunteers!

The swim team season will begin on Monday, June 16th and will end with an “End of Season Family Banquet” on Sunday, August 3rd. Swim Meet dates will be posted closer to the beginning of the season. Practices are held daily Monday through Friday. Children ages 9 and older will practice from 10-11 AM. Children 8 and under will swim from 11-11:45 AM. There will be no “Fun Fridays” this year – the kids will practice 5 days per week.

Team swimsuits are optional and may be purchased through All Star Sports located in the Acme plaza next to Panera. Please contact All Star Sports directly for suit information and sizing questions. Orders must be placed no later than May 21st to ensure suits arrive in time for our first practice.

We will celebrate the last day of school with a root beer float sale at the pool on June 11th from 3-5 PM. Please come celebrate and raise funds for your swim team! Jumbo sized floats will be available for $1 each!
